The group of high speed tool steels includes all high-alloyed tool steels which maintain the required high working hardness of 60 to 67 HRC up to working temperatures of almost 600 °C.
Identical to our cold work tool steels, the excellent wear properties of our high speed tool steels are based on the combination of a high carbon content and the elements chromium, molybdenum and vanadium. The additions of the alloying elements tungsten and cobalt, also increase the high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. Rapidur materials are the first choice for wear applications at elevated temperatures.

Our powders are available in a grain size distribution from 0 - 250 μm. Fractionations according to customer requirements are possible.
