Iron-based metal powder

Our iron-based metal powders for 3D printing can generally be divided into austenitic, hardenable and martensitic steels.

Materials with high corrosion and wear resistance

The austenitic Printdur 4404 has a high corrosion and a high oxidation resistance. If a good wear resistance is also required, the hardenable Printdur 4545 and Printdur 4548 offer a optimum combination of wear, corrosion and oxidation properties.

Materials with high wear resistance

If your 3D component is subject to increased wear, you can choose the grades Printdur Powderfort, Printdur 2343 and Printdur 2344.

We gladly will assist you selecting the optimal metal powder.

In addition to the illustrated Printdur materials, we manufacture other materials by powder metallurgy. Our metal powders are available in a grain size distribution from 0 - 250 μm. For Additive Manufacturing, a grain size distribution from 20 - 53 μm is typically used.  Fractionations according to customer requirements are possible. Just contact us. Our metal powder production is certified according to IATF 16949 (Quality Management Automotive) and DIN EN ISO 13485 (Quality Management Medical Devices).
